Fall Trout Stocking at Halfway Lake, Union County (B-Roll)

On 10/1, the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission along with community volunteers stocked hundreds of rainbow, brown and brook trout into Halfway Lake located at R.B. Winter State Park in Union County. The fish are available to be fished for immediately by licensed anglers. Those wishing to keep trout must have a trout/salmon permit. From October through December, the PFBC will stock more than 113,000 adult trout, replenishing select high use waterways throughout the fall and into the winter ice fishing season.
